Pens winning with a ton of AHL guys. Rangers look like they are good enough to pass the flyers soon. Tough sledding ahead guys and gals.

Flyers are on a trajectory of a North Korean missile ready to implode. Carter Hart is not a NHL #1 goalie, typical Flyers goalie. Fletcher is a horrid General Manager and Comcast is more concerned with marketing Gritty than putting a quality team on the Ice. Hextall would have had this team a year away from relevance in the playoffs. Kevin Hayes will be a major impediment to any success for the foreseeable future in Philly.

Hart Fletcher Comcast and Hayes have been here all season. Why didn’t you make this post in November when they won the most points in the league?

Glad that Charles Fletcher has ample cap space to deal with injuries that always seem to pop up throughout the season

You know that run in November must’ve killed him and he was itching to post this at the first sign of adversity. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had this comment ready to go from the start of the season.

you’re a complete fool if you really believe this about hart. i got to see him for one game this season (obviously when they played the avs earlier in the week), and that was all i needed to see. he’s the real deal.

The hockey gods are really pooping on us right now. I'm happy with the way the flyers looked so far there fun to watch and nice to see the kids play. Oskar's future status has a lot to do with the direction of the club. With guys out time to put jvr on his pedestal to get enough trade value to try and move him out his cap money is more valuable than he is right now.

If this is intended as a parody, it's a good one.

If you're serious, especially about Hart, you are spectacularly clueless.

The news on Lindblom is hard to comprehend. Not even from a hockey sense. I was reading about this form of cancer and there are less than 1000 cases per year. in the united states. The fact a player on the Flyers was diagnosed with this horrible disease is just stupid. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery and leads a long healthy life.

That said the season is going right down the poopter with injuries. Patrick may not play, Konecny out indefinitely, throw in injuries to Laughton and Pitlick last night and it's become a joke. I'm sure Fletchy poo will have two Phantoms schlubs on speed dial ready to roll in Winnipeg today.

I missed the game last night, can someone link the Stewart/Fletcher video tributes the Wild had on their jumbotron.

Seriously? If pitlick and Laughton can’t play what other choice do they have than to maybe call someone up? The phantoms played last night so they would have had to jump on a plane after their game last night and four to Winnepeg. That’s a lot of travel.

Flyers are down six forwards... how many teams have "non-schlub" options (at the NHL level) just sitting around in the AHL when you have go that far down the depth chart?

Other teams don't have to worry about it because they aren't down 6 forwards.

Pens and Avs have responded and maintained under similar circumstances. Flyers are not alone. The quality of the depth of the flyers just isn’t on par with these teams. It’s a shame that our forwards are getting hit hard but when your first callups on D are Friedman and walinski, maybe it’s for the better. Hopefully they can ride this out for a couple weeks and scratch together a couple wins

It will be pretty tough to get guys to Winnipeg for 5 pm. They may have to go with a d playing up front, if Laughton and Pitlick can’t go. This is when the veteran leaders need to step up and produce. This is a good character test for this team.

What is the point in a statement like this?
Honestly, what do you get from it?

We get it, you don't like the Flyers but it's not like they said "hey let's have six forwards hurt with one of them being a life threatening scenario"

I also keep reading how the Flyers have no depth? Really? They already have 5 or 6 guys who have contributed from the Phantoms this year. Some of these guys may be here to stay, because they have performed well.
Sometimes you get unlucky with injuries and circumstances....as a professional you deal with it. Today’s problem is the location of the game and the time....I would be surprised if they are able to get a body in..
